Following his electoral campaigns, Prime Minister Modi is rumoured to embark on spiritual pilgrimages. He travelled to Pratapgarh in Maharashtra in 2014 and Kedarnath in Uttarakhand in 2019. On June 1, Prime Minister Narendra Modi concluded his forty-five-hour meditation in Kanyakumari, Tamil Nadu. According to officials, the PM performed the "Surya Arghya" before sunrise at the Vivekananda Rock Memorial before starting his second and last day of meditation.
