Temples in Ancient Civilizations

Ancient Egypt: The Egyptians built elaborate temples dedicated to their gods and pharaohs. The most famous is the Temple of Karnak in Thebes, which was dedicated primarily to the god Amun. Other notable temples include the Temple of Luxor, the Temple of Hatshepsut at Deir el-Bahari, and the Temple of Abu Simbel.
